We would like to invite you to our annual Thanksgiving lunch! Please join us October 8th as we come together to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. Everything you’ve loved about the OH Thanksgiving lunch in previous years is the same except, we are just celebrating in October instead of November. We are also excited to be providing roasted birds!!! You won’t want to miss it!

A little bit of history for you. Long before Europeans settled in North America, festivals of thanks and celebrations of harvest took place in Europe in the month of October. The very first Thanksgiving celebration in North America took place in Canada when Martin Frobisher, an explorer from England, arrived in Newfoundland in 1578. http://www.kidzworld.com/article/2614-canadian-thanksgiving

HELP US BE GREEN!
This year we are making the effort to be earth friendly where we can. We came up with the idea of asking everyone to bring a resuable cup/travel mug with them to our events to use for drinks. This is great for two reasons:
#1 you won’t get confused with which white plastic cup is yours.
#2 we use less plastic cups.
Thanks for helping us!
