Lunch at La Tour Maline

Bon Appétit! The first Open House Lunch Group of the year met on Friday, October 7th at Restaurant La Tour Maline in Uriage-les-Bains. We had a delicious three-course meal and along with some lively conversation. Here we are sporting our multi-carat diamond rings (a.k.a. napkin holders).

Please watch for our November lunch plans, which will be announced in the next Bi-WUD newsletter. If you have any questions or restaurant suggestions, contact Stefani Baker at lunchgroup@openhousegrenoble.com.

Lunch Group dines at Pumpkins

Today, Open House members met at the American-food eatery in the area of St. Bruno called Pumpkins.  The members had fun and engaging conversation during lunch in both English and French.  The food was served in a timely manner and everyone had a good time. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this restaurant.  As, during the reservation process and up to the actual minute that our lunch event began, two members of Open House received very poor treatment from the restaurant owner.  The reason is unclear.  But, we cannot, in good faith, recommend an eating establishment that caused such dismay and emotional discomfort to any of our members.
