On 16 February, OH members gathered at CLEF to celebrate Mardi Gras in the style of New Orleans in the American South. Cajun music and food were shared, and a good time was had by all!

In December, Open House held two winter parties at the Maison Diocésaine in Grenoble with great success. Thanks to those who assisted with planning and decorating and to all who warmed the space with their presence and holiday cheer!
Ho, ho, ho! On Sunday, 13 December, Santa Claus (or Father Christmas, depending on your country of origin) visited children of Open House members.
Guests at the Winter Apéritif on 12 December enjoyed food from a splendid dînatoire buffet at intimate table settings.
The stately room was filled with gorgeous decorations and good company. Special thanks to Nicole Vieux for providing the floral arrangements!

The weeks leading up to Halloween contained lots of great activities for children. On October 24th, nearly 50 children haunted the halls of CLEF in full costume for the annual Halloween party. They played games, made crafts, had snacks, and competed in an outdoor pumpkin carving competition. Special thanks to present and former board members, Felicity Lodge and Amanda Stone, for making the party so fun and successful. Thanks also to the Open House parents who participated for sharing your time and spirit with us–the kids weren’t having all the fun!
The Baby and Toddlers groups combined to carve pumpkins a few days before the party.
