Looking for something to do?

  • First Saturday of the month: Brocante (flea market) at Place Hoche in Grenoble
  • Last Saturday of the month: Brocante (flea market) in Annecy
  • Every Sunday in Lyon: There is a market and an art fair along the river next to Old Town.
  • Second Sundays (March, June, October, and December): The Brocante Saint-Laurent is held the at the Quais Perrière and Mounier in Grenoble.

English Library at Babel

The English library is a joint project with Open House, Babel, and the Association Grenoble Oxford.

The library hours are as follows:

  • Monday: 16h to 17h 30
  • Tuesday: 12h 15 to 13h 45
  • Wednesday: 16h 30 to 18h
  • Thursday: 16h to 18 h
  • Friday: closed
  • Saturday: 14h 30 to 17h 30

The library is usually closed during school holidays.

The library is located at 2 rue Sainte Ursule near the museum car park. Ring the bell marked Babel and wait for someone to open the door. Donations of books are always welcome.

Language classes are held at other times.
