Patty Ferreira, President

Patty is originally from New York, and moved to Grenoble after living in Boulder, Colorado for 13 years. Patty holds an MBA from MIT and an MS/BS Chemical Engineering. Patty is a seasoned entrepreneur, having started and worked at a variety of start-ups. Patty has also worked in Strategy and Marketing at Fortune 500 companies to include HP, Agilent and Quantum. Patty moved to Grenoble in the summer of 2010 and continues to pursue her entrepreneurship endeavors, while also enjoying the the great outdoors Grenoble has to offer.

Kiri Duval-Hope, Vice President of Programs

Kiri is a Wisconsin native who has lived in France for 7 years in Strasbourg and now in Grenoble. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys all the activities available in the Grenoble area. She’s excited to be renewing her role as VP Programs.

Amy Cannata, Interest Group Coordinator

Amy Cannata is from Chicago and has been living in Grenoble for a few years. In addition to being the Interest Group Coordinator, Amy is also the co-leader of Open House’s Dance Group. She has served on the board previously and is looking forward to continuing her work on the board of Open House.

Marina Basko, Vice President of Children’s Events

Marina Basko was born in the old town of Vyatka, Russia, then moved to Moscow after graduating from university to start a career in mass-media and marketing. She has worked as a radio presenter and journalist. For the last 9 years she worked in PR and marketing at one of the national TV Networks. She is married and has a 3 year-old son.

Lindsay Bardou, Treasurer

Lindsay is originally from the UK but has lived in Grenoble for the last ten years. She came to Grenoble as a student and never went back after meeting her French husband. She’s a part-time secretary at the university and has 2 girls aged 3 and 5. She’s been a member of Open House for 5 years and as well as being the treasurer, she also leads the Maternelle Meet-up group.

Sharon Leigh-Lenormand, Vice President of Technology

Originally from Boston, MA, but have lived in Grenoble since 1996. I am a graduate from UMass Dartmouth and currently a software test engineer, but I am about to embark on a grand new adventure. I spend my free time traveling and exploring with my little girl, husband, and pooch. I have been an Open House member for a year and a half, and hope to help keep this little haven running.

Stefani Baker, Marketing & Communications Director

Stefani has lived in Europe for 12.5 years: 11 in the Grenoble region and 1.5 in The Netherlands. She is a California native, who graduated from the University of California Davis. Prior to having children, she had a career with Hewlett-Packard in California and Grenoble in marketing and support. She is currently a stay-at-home mom to her 3 children (ages 11, 9, and 5). Stefani really loves living in France and plans to stay here indefinitely. She has been a member of Open House for 9 years and is excited to help actively promote it as the Marcom Director again this year.

Anna Brambilla, Membership Director

Anna Schulman Brambilla moved to Grenoble with her husband and son in
June 2011. She grew up near Boston and moved here from California
where she lived for more than 15 years. This is her third time as an
expat having lived in Italy twice. She is excited to share her passion
for expat living and discovering new cultures with newcomers and
long-timers alike.

Megan Van Rooyen, Newsletter Editor

Megan, originally from Cape Town, South Africa, moved to Grenoble with her husband in 2011. Currently she is working   as  a freelance graphic designer, serving the local expat community and clients abroad.  While living in Grenoble, Megan hopes to fulfill her dreams of traveling Europe with her husband.
