Activities & Interest Groups

Open House helps its members organize activities and Interest Groups that address members needs and interests. All members are encouraged to get involved! Why not join an Interest Group, help organize an event or party or even propose and lead a new Interest Group? As a volunteer organization, Open House depends on its members to help it flourish, so please get involved today!

All members are encouraged to attend the two annual meetings. The Annual Meeting is held in March and features the election of new officers. The Rentree Meeting is held in September and features a membership drive and presentation of the Interest Groups and activities planned for the membership year. Open House has several Interest Groups that are lead by members who have an interest in a particular activity. In addition to the activities lead by the Interests Groups, Open House sponsors several seasonal events including the Christmas Aperitif, Spring Easter Egg Hunt, the popular Summer Picnic, and many others including children’s holiday parties. Check the Open House calendar often to see what activities are coming up.

Below you will find a description of our current Interest Groups and the contact information for each group. Our Interests Groups cover a wide area of interests, hobbies, and activities. Some meet regularly each week or monthly and some hold events seasonally. No matter which group suits your interests, you are sure to find a fun and diverse group of people who all speak English and enjoy (or are trying to enjoy) life in the beautiful French Alps!

If you are interested in joining an Interest Group or just attending any Interest Group activities, contact the group by email.

If you have any questions or ideas for Interest Groups or activities, don’t hesitate to contact the Interest Group Coordinator at groups@openhousegrenoble.com.
